26918 Blue Arrow Gender Pay Gap Report FINAL - Flipbook - Page 2
Introduction
We welcome the opportunity to share our gender pay
gap as it will help us have more meaningful conversations
with our people and our customers about equity, diversity
and inclusion.
The gender pay gap across Blue Arrow in regards to mean pay, and median
and mean combined pay that take into account bonus, are all in favour of
women.
Andy Hart
Managing Director,
Blue Arrow
Blue Arrow has a mean gender pay gap of -19.17% in favour of women (last
year 4.4%).
Blue Arrow has a median gender pay gap of 9.33% (last year 4.4%).
Due to the nature of our business, a large proportion of the people included
on the date of the snapshot were temporary workers whose pay is 昀椀xed by
our customers.
Amongst our salaried employees where pay is under our direct control,
our median gender pay gap is smaller at 7.23%, which in part is due to our
transparent career path and salary bandings, and the fact that women hold
a signi昀椀cant proportion of our senior leadership and management roles.
The overall bonus pay gap is signi昀椀cantly in favour of women and can be
correlated in part to a dominance of women in the upper quartile.
We have explored the key factors and influences on our data within ‘Our
Business Context’ section and whilst we have already improved the mean
gender pay gap, we are committed to continue working with our customers
to improving the gender balance for our candidates across all pay quartiles.
This report outlines more detail on the context and subsequent impacts on
our business and what we are undertaking as part of a broader focus on
creating a more inclusive workplace.
I con昀椀rm the information and data reported
is accurate as of the snapshot date 5 April 2023.
