South Asian Heritage Month in the UK, celebrated annually
from mid-July to mid-August, aims to recognise and celebrate the
rich and diverse cultures, histories, and contributions of people
with South Asian heritage. It encompasses the cultures of India,
Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, and the Maldives.
Celebrating South Asian Heritage Month as a business not only supports diversity
and inclusion goals but also demonstrates a commitment to understanding
and embracing the multicultural fabric of the workforce and broader community.
